The possibility to shop online makes it possible for those who have a hard time getting to physical stores, or for some other reasons don’t like to visit stores, to reach a larger selection of products and services. This requires though that e-commerce sites works well for everyone, despite the level of function ability.
PTS is looking for solutions that improves the possibility and experience to shop online. They also want to open up for services and products that are not offered today. Applicants can for example be found in the following areas:
- Companies developing e-commerce platforms.
- Payment providers or banks who want to make their e-services more available.
- Companies that provide solutions in signing, authentication, and log in, who want to increase the usability.
- Manufacturers of terminals (eg mobile phones and payment terminals).
- E-commerce sites who want to make sure that all potential buyers have the same ability to shop.
- E-commerce sites who want to find new ways for their customer service or support to communicate with customers.
The solutions that PTS are looking for can make it easier for everyone despite the level of function ability, but should especially work well for people with any function disability. The services can benefit to use the concept Design for everyone that provides guideline on how to develop products and services that can be used by as many as possible.
The competition started on May 5 2015, and the last day of applying is June 17 2015. After this period, PTS will evaluate all applications and select the projects that are funded by the authority. Read more about the competition on pts.se (in Swedish).
