This June two new co-workers joined 3bits. It is Yanling Jin, who performed her degree project at Chalmers with us, and is now employed as backend developer. And also Erik Rosell who has an education as a Concept Developer for e-commerce, and did his LIA period (Learning in Work) this spring, and is now employed as Site Analyst and Project Assistant in one of our developing teams.
It is now time for vacation for several in Sweden, including us at 3bits. Our support will therefore have summer opening hours during week 30 to week 33 (July 20 – August 16), when the support is open 9 AM to 4 PM (UTC + 1).
This June, a Scandinavian study was presented by Avensia in cooperation with Yougov, where they have mapped 30 of the largest retailers and their ventures in omnichannel in the respective country. Sweden had the best results in Scandinavia, followed by Denmark. Among the Swedish companies in the study in the fashion industry, Lindex tops the charts.
In the beginning of May, Erik Jorpes was hired as a Solution Architect and Project Manager, and is also Manager for one of the developing teams at 3bits.
On April 28, 3bits attended the partner day at Litium, where we were informed about the release of Accelerator 4 and upcoming Litium 5 and 6. The focus is on better customer experience and completely rewritten code.
The Swedish Post and Telecom Authority (PTS) has arranged the competition “Innovation for everyone” twice a year since 2010 in Sweden. PTS eleventh innovation competition has the theme “Smarter e-commerce”. The project proposals that are selected as winners receive funding up to 1.7 Million SEK each.
On May 6, you will have the opportunity to find out how 3bits uses NServiceBus to build better .NET systems. Attend the seminar in Gothenburg and learn why we use NServiceBus to solve customer challenges, which solutions we have built for customers, and what pitfalls you should avoid.

At Kistamässan on March 24-25 2015, the event e-commerce Stockholm is arranged, which is a meeting place in e-commerce, digital marketing, and social business. 3bits is present also this year as an exhibitor and speaker.
