One Thursday I ordered products from England, the next day they were delivered to my door in Sweden. That is impressive, we usually say that it is a small world, and that is certainly true when you don’t even need to think if you order from your own country or another.
DPD’s Delivery App
There is no question that a lot is going on when it comes to deliveries in e-commerce. We could recently read about the international courier DPD will launch a new app during fall 2105 that is targeted to parcel recipients. It will be an app where you can see all products that are on their way without having to trace each parcel separately. You can specify how you prefer your deliveries so DPD can see how and when you want your products delivered. An innovative and new way of thinking compared to the handwritten notes you sometimes get from couriers when you haven’t been home for a home delivery.
Jetpak From Door to Door
In the beginning of the 1970´s, Adena and Picko’s started up their messenger car businesses, and in the end of the 70’s, Jetpaket was launched which was sent in the Linjeflyg’s aircrafts. The cooperation started with the messenger car business AdenaPicko’s 1986 since it also was a need for pickups and deliveries. The combination of fast ground transports and air transports grew, Jetpak and AdenaPicko’s were merged into one brand in 2004 – Jetpak. Today, Jetpak is represented in more than 140 cities in Sweden, Norway, Denmark, and Finland, and since 2015 also in Amsterdam, Düsseldorf, and Brussels.
Jetpak is mainly a complement to ordinary deliveries, for those who doesn’t want to wait for some reason. They can pick up from the warehouse and deliver to the door, the same day, or the day after. The customers can choose if they want it delivered home, to the office, or maybe the summer house. Anything to keep it as flexible as possible. Jetpak can offer both solutions for spontaneous transport needs, and tailored logistics. Sometime that increases the service for the customer is to accept orders later during the day, as long as the warehouse is open, Jetpak can deliver. The entire Nordics is covered with Jetpak’s own network.
Unifaun supports Jetpak’s services in Unifaun Online and Unifaun PrintServer. If you don’t use Jetpak that frequently, you can instead schedule the delivery in their system. They take care of notifications during the entire delivery to both seller and customer, and customer service can follow the deliveries in real time. If necessary, an ID check can be performed.
Deliveries the Same Day

Fast deliveries are more and more common, every possible obstacle that can affect the buying decision should be cleared if possible. Now, home deliveries are often connected to a higher delivery cost, but sometimes it is offered free over a certain order amount, and sometimes it is motivated with a higher cost, since it is better service and easier for most to have it delivered home in the evening. Fast and flexible, from door to door.
